Proof of Address at Fractal ID

Fractal ID has adopted an inclusive proof of address method which collects a customer’s address and validates it against a credible document provided by the customer.

Documents accepted as evidence of country of residency and residential address need to contain a readable address that matches the claimed address, as well as the customer’s name. It shall additionally fit into one of the acceptable categories of proof of address issued within a certain period of time, which in turn varies in accordance with the type of evidence presented by the customer. By way of example, a bill from a local utility or telecommunications company, issued within the last 6 months, is accepted as evidence of country of residency and residential address.

Note: Fractal ID’s default proof of address standard can be made stricter upon request. However, it cannot be made more flexible. The discussion on narrowing the range of proof of address documents approvable takes place between a Fractal ID account manager and the financial institution.
