Uniqueness Level

Stepping away from traditional AML requirements, the Uniqueness level - which solely provides liveness verifications - was envisioned not thinking exclusively on regulations, but something else of equal importance - establishing a solid defense against bot and sybil attacks.

By undergoing our liveness screening mechanism, we ensure that onboarding users are, indeed, real human beings and not automated malicious bots set out to subvert networks by flooding them with forged accounts and pseudonymized identities.

Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs), gaming platforms, and virtually every other system based on reputation and voting platforms are classic examples of institutions that rely the most on uniqueness/liveness verification to safeguard against forged imbalances, or, in worst-case scenarios, loss of network control and integrity in the event of a so-called 51% attacks and related.
