Age of majority

In the vast majority of jurisdictions, minors have limited capacity to contract and are subject to enhanced data privacy protection. While this feature is not a core risk factor of an AML program, financial services generally will not want this population to begin a business relationship or conduct transactions without parental supervision.

For this reason, Fractal ID requires customers to be at least 18 years old to continue. If a customer is confirmed to be younger than 18 years old, the customer is rejected.
